From The President's Desk
It seems that wherever you look these days, someone has a camera in hand  ready to record an event or capture a moment that they hope will evoke a strong feeling or response.  The world of photography has exploded with new technology and exciting ideas, with more and more people discovering just how rewarding this form of self-expression can be.

At the Capital City Camera Club, we have the opportunity to be part of this evolution in photography by joining other like-minded, amazingly talented enthusiasts who want to explore and expand our artistic horizons.  Members’ experience levels range from novice to professional and all points in between.  Participation in club activities is based on each member’s personal comfort zone but, where your photography is concerned, please do not hesitate to join in because you think your photo equipment or knowledge may not “measure up.”  From my own personal experience, those thoughts could not be further from the truth.  If you have a camera and an interest in photography, you are among friends who are always encouraging and supportive.  All of our activities are member-friendly, and you only need to be open to the learning and creative processes to reap the benefits.

If you’re not already a member of the Capital City Camera Club, I hope you’ll visit one of our meetings and check us out.  This is a great place to share photographic accomplishments, pleasures and treasures.  To our current members, I extend a big “THANK YOU“ for making this an organization we can all be proud of.
